Eh, I don't like them. It's really hard to get used to one. As i'm sure you know, we don't really ride quads the same way we ride dirt bikes. With a bike you lean in the corners a lot, and usually don't have to turn the bars very sharp. A twist throttle makes it very interesting to make sharp corners on a quad because of the natural tendency for your wrists to twist. It might not be so bad for someone that's already used to bikes, but I feel out of control every time I ride a quad with twist throttle. Caused me to ruin a perfectly good bumper once too.

on a dirtbike.. you are one wit hthe bike... you are practically riding the bike .. your body style helps with throttle

on a quad.. you're more holding on and trying to control the throttle... ssooo

that's really the best way i can describe it..

I have twist on Banshee and thumb on others. The thumb is easier to keep clean because it is much better sealed. No problem for a duner but PITA for mud. You can adjust to anything.

my friend had one on his banshee and i didnt like it, but he loved it. its whatever u like. my other friends cuz has it on his raptor and my friend hates ridin it. hes used to his gsxr750 and steering and leaning are totaly different on a 4wheeler than a dritbike/street bike so thats y. i slide my hands when i take turns and if i had twist throttle id be gettin on and off the gas in turns when i didnt want to. thats the one thing you dont wanna have happen in tight woods. my friend rides hes banshee fine tho. i guess u just gotta get used to it. to each his own. it is cool tho
