well i'd say anything with an offset V pattern

one that looks like this should both get good traction and sluff mud pretty well..

If you want to get more sliding around corners out of your Wolverine, get a Warn 424 so you can disconnect the front end, you will be able to do easy powerslides around corners just like a sport quad. Most people on the forums will tell you it is the best bang for the buck you can put on your Wolvy.I can pitch mine completey sideways no problem with the front end off. Other good items are a good slip on silencer, jetting and filter swap ( put in the clamp on adapter, much better set up than stock.) and if you do a lot of mudding with your trail riding, I've heard a lot of good things about the Mudlites, I run Maxxis Surtracs, good trail tire with a good bite in the slop.

The Gearless Locker is basically a mini Detroit Locker, they put them in a lot of muscle cars for better traction, they are basically a solid spool when traveling straight, but are spring loaded lock pins that will ratchet when cornering to allow the inside wheel to travel slower than the outside, so you will hear it pop and ratchet in a tight turn, that is normal for that type of differential. You should hear a Chevelle do a U-turn with a Detroit in the back, you would swear something is going to drop out sometimes, but that is just the nature of the beast.
