Grizzly 450/Kodiak 450 spring setting ?
#1
I took my new Grizz 450 for a ride in the snow today and I notice the front end really comes up when on the gas.
When letting off, she really takes a dip.
Looked at the shocks/springs and the front and rear are set at the 2nd notch.
Has anyone a recommendation for proper settings for front and rear to give a more stable platform?
I can just imagine how this thing would 'push' in a corner on gravel.
Thanks
Bob

I have a 2007 Grizzly 450 and mine also picks up alot when you hit the gas and drops when you let off of it. I would just leave it at the same spring tension mainly because that is the factory setting.

Power,
The stock settings are lame at best.
I'm just wondering if maybe setting the front spring one notch stiffer than the rear will make a more stable ride.
Say like a 4 front/ 3 rear? or 5/4?
Get the spanner wrench out Power, you'll be changing yours soon :^)
