I was thinking that too. But if you read what kind of oil they want you to use its "non-enery saving" or something like that. so im going to guess theres something in the energy saving oils that isnt good for our bikes. I would say something to do with the cleaners and friction modifiers. Im sure someone will chime in with a better explaination.

The yamaha dealer which actually owns a 06 wolvy 450 same as mine, says not to run the synthetic oils because it can cause belt and clutch slippage. If you do put in one that causes slippage, you will probably have to change it about 2 more times to get all the (Better) oil out.

I have mine at the dealer now for installation of the EPI clutch kit. They said a set of smaller springs are not fitting! Something about the hook ends not curved enough to grab and stay in place. So now I will have to wait and see if EPI will ship out more or tell the dealer HOW TO DO IT!
I like the GYTR pipe though.
