Default 03 blaster problem!

i did what jlsparky said and that didn't work. if i unplug the wire from the carb top it don't idle but still rides the same. unplug the switch wire and it dies when put in gear. unplug both doesn't even start. unplug the little tab/sensor for parking brake and it will start but then dies. the carb is clean, I checked the reeds and they looked brand new. me and my dad got thinking could it be the CDI and how can we tell if that is bad. The switch in the thumb throttle was tested with a multimeter and it was good.

WE ARE STUMPED!!! my dad said we will probably have to bring it to the shop because we just can't figure it out. Unless somebody on here can hepl me. Thanks for trying to help though as it really is helping me to learn about this damn TORS.

Default 03 blaster problem!

we have ran in to the same thing. it was dirt in the carb bowl.i guss you all ready check the plug and filter..
this might sound off the wall but look at your back brake rotor.and see if your brake has been sticking.ours done that.may be sucking air at a high rpm. you can check taht with wd-40 spray it around the head and cyendler and the head.if it bogs down you know you have a leak.
