Default Banshee setup

will it be a good idea to have my cylinders ported my Trinity Racing w/ the stage lll port job along with their 2 into 1 carb setup?I want to know if the single carb setup will give bottom-end power as well as top-end power with that port job for the top-end power increase. is a good idea to do that because putting the single carb will increase the bottom-end and meanwhile that port job increases the top-end power?.......also i want to know if the single carb setup(33mm or 35mm) will be better with that port job than the stock 26mm carbs.thanks!!!

Are you talking just a hone or boring the motor .20 .40 or .60 over? The 2 into 1 is a nice feature to have. Its well worth the slight top-end sacrifice for the lower maintanance and low-end gain.

Trinitys MX port job increases power everywhere. They say it has a lot more bottom end than stock and 85% of the top end of the drag port. I would do searches and ask questions at www.bansheehq.com. You will find a lot of different opinions regarding the 2 into 1 setup.

I don't think you should get a top end port job and then a low/mid carb set up. You should decide what you want and then build the entire engine to work well together. You should select the pipe, the head work, the porting, and the carbs to all work together. The only advantage of the Trinity single 35 carb is that jetting and carb synchro work is easier. I would never go this route again due to loss in top end. A great carb solution is to have RB Machine in Portland, Oregon, do their carb bore, baffle, jetting, and TORS removal work to stock carbs. Get head milled and domed for pump premium. Get mild port clean up only and a good all around pipe like a FMF Fatty.

thanks guys i think i will stick with the dual carbs because i ride dunes and desert.the reason why i would want the single carb is for bottom-end for wheelies but i can do with the dual carbs.....and to JLsparky7 i amnot talking about boring and am talking about porting the cylinders, well anyways thanks for your help.......thanks!!!
