Should i get an edelbrock carb. Or should i have my quad bored ported and put a high compression piston?

I only have the money to do one or the other. Also which one will give me best power gains. Finally whats a good bore kit to get. i dont really want to get a stroker cuz thats just to much work lol.

get the port and piston.I guess your talking about a big bore kit when you say bore.if so then yes get a big bore kit.Just boring the motor will not give you any more power unless your motor needs rebuilding.

 

if i where you then get a Vitos big bore.......port it adn polishing it helps too.....

 

Juding by your mods it looks like your going to outgrow your 350 pretty quick here. I dont mean to bash your bike its nice and all but I would reccomend saving for a full size quad. If you like your quad that much.... Id say bore, port and polish.

 

strokeing it is what gives u the power. alot of people think that a car with a motor thats board 30 over is a big mod.... in reality it really isnt. if you were to take a chevy 350 and take it 30 over its only a 355. idk if they make a stroker crank for the raptor 350s thats longer than stock but not to the point where u have to machine part of the block.

 

I agree with sparky! Unless this is the last quad you'll ever own.........Stop now and save for a bigger machine. You're only going to get so much power out of a 350 even with expensive mods. Besides, the more you cut on that motor the less it will be worth resale.
