Thats what the company wants you to think. Tests have proven otherwise. t5's have better all around performance with the "usual" mods.

I'm glad that fixed it up. A buddy of mine has one with FMF Fatty pipes.. thing is pretty fast. It also has bigger carbs, reeds, milled, ported, no air box. Pipes are always the best thing to upgrade first, once you can aford them.

If your going to stay with the typical pipe, reed, head, timming mods then go with the T5's.
for some reason i am 100 % sure that it is the other way around.
t-6 = stock motor
t-5 = everything

to answer your question i think t-6's should be the best if you arent planning on porting

Food for thought...
I was the proud owner of a 01 Banshee... I was clocked (running) at 108 MPH in less than a quarter mile I was wide open just past the 1/8 mile... The first time I ran it with slicks the bike ran out from under me and I landed on my butt.. I made the mistake of listening to my exgirlfriend and sold it!
Mods included: 20 over bore, stock carbs, ported reed cages, K&N filter, amp link, MF 2in1 pipe, new reeds(cant remember brand), ported&polished exaust ports(I did my self), +2 teeth on the front sprocket, 94 octane fuel with octane booster mixed in 5 gallons(bottle says it treats up to 20 gallons), DuraBlue +2 axle, offset fronts wheels, Holeshots & slicks (roadrunnin can be fun)
The reed cages and intake ports I used a dremal to open them up but I did not smooth the walls up. I read the it help the fuel and air to "scavenge" better(whatever that means) with them "rough, The exaust ports I used a hone for small engines(that took a while) to make sure my measurements where close I actually used a cardboard cutout that just slid through the first side I did. It was a gamble but it worked, very well to my surprise.
I can look and find the 5 tickets I received one day(happens when you run out of fuel) just to show with those mods that bike will fly!*** The 2in1 pipe was my best investment.*** I never got beat drag racing anyone I came across.Atco Raceway I even ran from some of the street bikes!!! I had FMF's , Toomeys and Pro Circuit pipes on this bike and I found the 2in1 to be unreal!!!! It was made by DynoPort it claimed to be a good low and mid range pipe but I felt a huge difference when I switched to this pipe. The only honest down fall was jetting the carbs for this pipe!
I went through 9 sets of new plugs just to get it right!
I could only imagine what a GOOD set of heads would have done!
