Mods? Year?
Did you remember to cut the eletrical wire comming off your throttle when you removed the tors?
Whats your idle set like?
Whats your idle jet set like? Should be about 2 turns out
Have you inspected your reeds?

Did you happen to put the slides in the wrong carbs? If you put the slide from the left carb in the right carb (or the other way around), the key will be backwords and allow you to put it in facing the wrong way. The cut away on the bottom of the slide should face towards the BACK of the motor.

There is a wedge type pice cut out from the bottom of each slide. That edge should go towards the back of the motor. So if you look into the larger side of the carb you should be able to see the bottom of the slide cut out.

The T6's are better if you plan on going all out with the motor, such as boring it and slapping bigger carbs on.

If your going to stay with the typical pipe, reed, head, timming mods then go with the T5's.

T5's would be your better choice then.

I heard either way the t6's make more power than the t5s. Stock motor and carbs.
