I just put the Big Gun exhaust and headers on my Raptor, took about four hours all together plus putting on the GYT-R Skid Plates. Changed jetting and oh my goodness, you folks better run out and get one. The sound ROCKS - I saw my neighbors lites com eon when I touched it off. Wholly cow do I have same aditional power. On top of all that the PIPES are phat looking. The machine looks bad as hell and IS fast as hell. I weigh 220lbs and am 6'2" and the thing yanks my *** around like nothing. I am buying ICE Tires and picks to run it at the radar runs - whatch out.

If anyone has questions email me at bcarter1@maine.rr.com and I will try to hook you up. I talked to WB and they didn't know what piper were better. I talked to Paul at BIg Gun and this guy was part of the BaJA 2K team. HE was right and knows his stuff. If you buy one tell them BJ Carter sent you. BE cool - ride hard and keep you lids on.

Todate I have put on the:

Shock Covers (Blue Yamaha)
Front GYT Bumper
GYT Frame Skid
GYT Rear Skid
Graydon Nerfs
Gyt Heel Guards

Raptorfast,

Glad to hear you enjoy your Big Gun. I have the same system sitting in my kitchen waiting to be put on soon. Do you have any tips or suggestions from your experience with the install (including jetting) that you think would be valuable? Also, how much time did you have on the bike before you installed it?

Thanks,
Bart

Can one of you guys post a sound file of the Big Gun exhaust once you get it on there? We'd all love to hear it I'm sure.

Maybe steelwool will take it out / blend it in (just make sure you rub in the direction of the grain). I would test it on top of the silencer so if it screws it up, you'll never see it.

Here's a sound file you can listen to of a Big Gun Exhaust on a 400ex.

Sudco has the jets just ask for Paul. You need a 150 and 155 Mikuni Small Round and two 27.7 for the Pilot Jets. Call Big Gun and get the number for Sudco.
