atv Bridge help

Default atv Bridge help

i need to build a bridge that is about 22ft long and big enough for atv's. I dont have any experiance with building bridges can anyone help??

just lay them across. get 2 and then put wood over the top

Are you going to pour concrete abutments?

if your doin steel beams it would require you to get 2 - W8x24x24' wich is gonna weight 576lbs per beam. gonna take a couple big dudes to move them Seems like it would be better to build a bridge like they do out here in the woods with a suspended deck and a pair of trusses for rails.

Go to a used truck/trailer yard and buy an wore out flatbed trailer. Drag it were you want it, remove and sale the axles, and you are set.

Who needs bridges? All you need is a pile of dirt and a good running start to cross a stream without getting wet [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img]

You could do like they do up north and get about 3 -4 big trees and chain them together so they float on the water or on both sides of the creek or whatever your trying to cross
