it starts if you spray starting fluid into the intake, but only for about 10 seconds and then just dies. it sat for about 2 months, he said he had it running last week, but ran out of gas. he put gas in it but it is from his fathers chainsaw can. im thinking its just the gas? the carbs probably could use a good cleaning too, but its not my bike and i just wanted some input. thanks.

so i go to drain the gas and no gas is coming out. turns out he didnt put enough gas in the tank to run the bike with the fuel **** in the on position. all i did was turn on the reserve and the thing has been idling perfectly.
