Default SNOW finally!!

We finally got some snow here in Western Ma and I got to plow my driveway, man I forgot how fun it was. I bought a winch this summer and was skeptical of using it to plow because of hearing about the cables breaking. I'm not sure how that can happen but I sure know it made raising and lowering that plow so much faster. BRING ON MORE SNOW!!!!

Come plow my drive, LOL. I love playing in da snow.... er.... working on clearing the drive and road ways... hehehe On my second quad now also with winch/plow and love it. Problem is, ya gotta watch the plow when ya raise it. Forget to stop once or twice at the top, and the cable will snap. My old 660 (2.5ci winch, same as the 700) has snapped the cable so many times I think I have cut the length of it in half just from repairs! Only lost bout 3 feet so far from the 700's repair, and have not had it long. The cable don't bother me much, they are cheap at the local hardware store, but if I could now figure out how to start the damn thing in the cold. (yup, I'm reading the cold start thread... lol). It is now between 15-25 below zero every night here, with a high of about -5 during the day... won't even turn over. There's always spring.... lol

ah, so thats how they break, I only heard that they break, never knew how. I know what you mean now, I'll know what to be careful with.
Good luck with the cold start, thats really disappointing that there are so many grizz 700's w/ this problem...hopefully yamaha fixes it soon.
