wheelies on a raptor 350
it's probably because it's your first quad, no a rappy 350 isn't the easiest quad to wheelie, but it definately can be done. there is a pile of threads and what not all over the internet on how to wheelie, techniques and all that jazz, that would be a good place to start off.

The Raptor 350 is definately not the easiest bike to do wheelies on. It is a little more nose heavy, which also makes it a good trail bike, and does not have the extreme power to just lift the front end. It is easier to do them in 2nd gear. 1st is just too short to bring up the front end enough. Here is a link to a good thread about wheelies on the 350. It has some good pics in it too.
How to wheelie the Raptor 350 thread.
Hope this helps and practice, practice, practice.

if you can get the front end up that's good, now its just a matter of being brave and finding the balance point to hold it up since it isn't a huge powerhouse of a quad that can hold it up for a while on power alone, and being slightly nose heavy like evasiveone said, and knowing from experience, the balance point, is way back there, the nose of that quad is gonna be awfully high in the air to find the balance point, it'll take time and practice, just work on it.

Its definately a hard bike to wheelie, but once you get the hang of it, its a piece of cake. You pull it up in 2nd, and shift gears just like you would if you were on all fours. These bikes have a high balance point, too. If you hit the wheelie bar on the ground or are about to, just LIGHTLY tap the rear brake and that will bring you back down.
