Default Yamaha vs. Polaris

I have a friend who thinks that his Troy Lee Edition Predator 500 is just awesome. He begs me to drag race him. I have a bone stock raptor 700 and he has never beat me. Now I've been beaten by banshees and yfz's, but never by his piped predator. Now that the new Polaris outlaw 525 is coming out, he is bragging this bike up. Tell me this isn't true. Polaris will never be faster than Yamaha!!!

no doubt the thing is fast as hell, we will have to wait for the big reliability question

Local riders insist that's a much better line than what the 450's were running, but I've never been there so I can't speak with any authority.

I heard the same thing, but that was just the 1st 2 races. The other 4 seemed to be pretty even.

I think this 525 outlaw is going to be a machine that will be hard for people to rag on reliability.
It's a KTM power plant thats known for being bullet proof. and the frame seem to stand up well to GNCC racing last season.
But i agree real test will be when it's a few years old.
