Default blaster or z250

do u guys know if it is a trail machine like the z that can do or have like a 1000 miles.cause i think it would be pretty sweet to trail ride with a blaster.i think he thinks they are junk cause 1 of his friends has a drag banshee and trail rides with it and it is made to fly not doing 35-45 mph.the blaster has every thing better like shocks body looks speed power and the z only goes like 50 i think and the blaster goes like 75 with a pipe.both r nice bikes and all but i like the blaster cause of the price ect.

By what I've read I wouldn't be listening to your dad on this one. The blaster is probably one of the most reliable quads ever built and has the most potential of any quad in it's class. It'll have a lot more parts on the market than any other, including performance, suspension, brakes, and protection parts. It's been the same since 1987 until 2003(?) when it got the new plastics and front disc bakes. Also, isn't the Z250 and auto clutch?? Which could be nice on the trails for a beginner, but if you want to improve your skills as a rider and prepare yourself for a better bike in the future, go for a blaster! Avoid machines that have been raced, and if the oil injection has been removed, make sure it was done professionally or correctly. Remember if it has, you need to premix your gas with 2 stroke oil. Either way you'll have fun and thats the important part! Good luck with your decision!

From Suzuki's site...."Five-speed transmission with automatic clutch includes an easy-to-use reverse gear system - place the transmission in neutral - turn the fender-mounted **** and depress the shift lever". Plus the suzuki has a shaft for final drive instead of chain. That's some extra weight but less maintainance....unless it breaks.

you asked...well I guess you only asked about the clutch....so no, you can't get one with a clutch.

Id go with the Blaster, not because I like Yamahas, but they are good bikes if you treat them right. If you get them jetted properly from the start and mix your gas & oil right, and dont hold it wide open for long periods, it will last forever. Parts are cheap and plentiful for Blasters, and if you ougrow it, put some performance parts on it! You gonna do that with a Z250? Whens the last time you saw a grown man on a Z250? Ive seen plenty of men still riding Blasters. But If your dad is forking out the greenbacks, you gotta go with his choice.

blaster for sure. It rocks. But now im looking for a lt r450 or yfz lol. But its great. reliable and mines been thru hell and its no broken down for the first tiem but a boer and crank and its will be running im working on it it should be done later this week. It rocks. I can keep up with z400s on the track and trails. Ive beat 450s on the track sometimes out of luck but there great. I smoke 300exs and z250, and some warriors that are motsly stock but its awesome. get the blaster.
