Thanks,, I wasnt sure.. I was riding today using to low airpressure and hit a rock and really bent my rim in and luckily i beat it back in with a sledge hammer and got it to hold air.. i got a good deal on a pair of rear steel wheels for 90$, and not the 230$ asking price for a replacement aluminium rim from bikebandit.com (ps, got the rims off rockymountainatv.com)... good prices on that site..

First time i took my bike out last weekend i put a dent in the front rim. It still holds air but im surprised on how weak they are. think i could get yamaha to warrenty it? lol. When i get some time im going to look into making some rim lip savers that weld onto the factory rim to give the lip some more strength against bending.

My very first ride I put a cut into the front tire sidewall. I bitched a little but we plugged it and it held well for 70+ miles but I came across a deal on a brand new tire to replace it so I put the new one on. I am going to put a patch on the original tire and keep it as a spare.
I can relate to how you feel.
