Default 2000 Wolverine 350 with slide carb?

Forgive me I've not searched the history on this forum for this topic yet due to time constraints.

I'm considering replacing my stock carb on my 2000 Wolverine 350 with a slide carb. Has anyone done this that can give me some jetting tips?

Thanks,

Default 2000 Wolverine 350 with slide carb?

After searching through past posts on this site, lots of good readings! I tried a few more things with my carb and took some pictures of the diaphram. I noticed some air was leaking through the corner where the top cap goes on the carb block and then noticed there wasn't a o-ring seal where the cap has a 'port' going to the coast diaphram section. I found an O-ring that fits and put it in there and gave it a try, no difference, the slide still will not lift on it's own. Also then noticed the plastic cap for the coast diaphram section was cracked and letting air out. I know the top (main) diaphram is $85 +S/H online and now I need a new cap for the coast diaphram section. =\. I found a Mikuni VM34 round slide carburetor on e-bay for $50 that came off a polaris 400. I'm going to give this a shot before I spend money on parts that expensive, and I basically refuse to take any of my toys to the shop.

I can't find anywhere online where anyone has documented putting the VM34 on the wolverine, but for $50 I figured I'd give it a shot.

Anyone have any input? I think the jets that are coming with the Mikuni I got are main: 230 and pilot:30

How did it workout? What jets did you end up using?
