Yeah, it's your (parent's) property.
Yeah, you're allowed to ride on your property (within reason).
Yeah, your neighbor is allowed to complain about it if you're being a turd.
Yeah, it could end up real ugly for you AND your parents if you continue doing stupid crap like that.

My advice? Keep riding, but stay within the law, and be respectful! Something about youth and treachery never over coming old age and wisdom.

And the fact is, there is legislation now in more than one state that wants to greatly restrict what people can do on their own property when it comes to motorcycles and ATVs, and what you're doing is adding fuel to the fire. It could blow up in your (and my) face if you keep acting like a turd.

Don't be suprised if your neighbor finds several ways to constantly and relentlessly make your life miserable for you AND your parents since you obviously want to make his miserable. Perhaps enough visits from the LEOs to your house so your folks get sick and tired of your crap and take your toys away will teach you some respect.

(btw, I have a dirt track in my back yard, and ride quads/dirtbikes back there daily, and respectfully)

show some respect to your neighbor, someday you will be old and it will be you some kid is bothering. Their are noise laws in most states and going on his proppergty WILL CAUSE problems and you could loose your ATV. I have seen ATV's gotten Shot all to Hell with a 12 gauge shot gun here in Ohio because some dumb kid thought he could go on someones land without permission. Yes your ATV should not get shot up but on the other hand you are not allowed by law to go on land without permission, in the end the kid was out his ATV!! I have a nasty neighbor as well that gets pissed when I ride,but not because of noise or because I am hurting anything but just because he is mentaly imballanced,I am 36 yrs old and have kids of my own that ride on my property along with others, I actually have a track built, but out of respect for my neighborhood i would never even think of putting a loud pipe on any ATV. thats not to say a nice pipe isn't good, toss that stocker but be reasonable with noise. because of kids with no respect I can not take my kids on any of the trails I had as a kid. their is over 600 acres we can't use anymore and it is striclty enforced because of a few idiots that screwed it all up. when I was 10-18 I spent most of my days building trails and gathering permission slips from land owners along with probably 10 or so of my friends in the neighborhood. now I am 36 and for the past 9 years none of this land is usable to anyone because of some idiots who could have just cared less about the future riders, they just wanted 1 or 2 days worth of fun!!!!

 

One more thing, it's probably not too smart to brag openly about destroying someone's property on an internet forum, especially in an unincorporated part of town with only about 250 people living there.

ok yes i am a kid the only reason why i went on his lawn for a drag race was because 1. i have been nice to him ever since he moved here 2 i have stayed on my property until now 3 he called the cops 10 times already 4 i am from a gang ridden school so this is how i solve my problems 5 he had a guy drive a tractor on my lawn when my dad was not home and i told him to get off of my property (parents) 6 he falsey acusses me no proof though 7 i am trying to stop use my mean ways to solve things. when i get the chance to talk to him i wil try to find a way where we can get along

 

out of all the reasons you gave any one of them was a good reason because he is on your land so that gives you a freebe to be on his thats what i see it as.
i belive in a eye for a eye a tooth for a tooth. just because people in your school is in gangs does give you a reason to do something like that.like many said doing things like that #%&#s things up for everybodyif you and others go on other peoples land and **** them off soon their will nowhere to ride but at dunes, cops will take quads fast, bigger fines, and more laws to keep people form riding.im 16 and i know just because your young shouldnt keep you from being respectful to people.riders like you give us all a bad name

 

Hmmm, if this is true, then you can expect to have a prison cell with your name on it in the future. That is what happens to gang bangers. They end up in prison or dead.
I prefer the later, because I don't like my taxes spent supporting people in prison.

Of all the reasons listed, I don't see any reason for you to be on his land. If "he had a guy drive his tractor on your dad's land", YOU driving on HIS land is NOT legal recourse. Reporting him to the police IS. Since he called the police "10 times already", there must be at least one police report with the LEOs there in Sobieski, Wisconsin. How hard to you think it would be for the LEOs to trace this thread back to you and charge you and your parents with criminal trespass with intent to do property damage?

Not hard at all. Espeically if someone from your area reads this post and saw what you're doing to destroy ALL of our OHV privilages, (or what few we have left, thanks to people like you), and forwarded this thread to the State Patrol, which is just a couple miles up the 41 from you.

You've got a lot to learn about respect AND the law. I have a feeling you will be learning quite a bit about both in very short order if you keep being a turd.

It's hard to read your post... what are you saying? Do you honestly think this kid has a right to destroy someone else's property? Especially for the reasons he listed?

BTW, they're closing dunes left and right, too, so don't think you'll be able to ride there in 10 years either.

 

One more thing to add here: People like this kid destroying private property is only one element we're fighting to keep puplic AND private land open to OHV use. We also have to deal with the green tree-hugging hippies who are trying to close every single public OHV area we have, not to mention PRIVATE LAND.

They've already closed a good portion of them, and we don't need to have turds like this kid fighting on their side, it's hard enough as it is.
