I HAVE A MINT CONDITION '96 WARRIOR WITH A UNI FILTER AND HOLESHOT XCT'S, AND MY FRIEND HAS A '98 300EX WITH DG EXAUST AND SOME KIND OF AFTERMARKET AIR FILTER WITH ALSO HOLESHOTS XCT'S BUT HE KILLS ME ON TAKE OFF AND BEATS ME ON TOP END. WHAT COULD I DO TO MAKE MINE FASTER THAN HIS LIKE IT SHOULD BE?

Practice your launches. I was under the impression that the 300ex is extremely wheelie prone so you should be able to get him out of the hole. Slip the clutch just enough to keep front end on the ground and minimal spinning, both kill your et. I am not sure about top end but a good tuck under the handlebars and pulling the elbows and knees in helps alot.

You should be faster than your buddy. Rider experience is kickin' your butt. You gotta practice launching.
Plus, even though DG pipes suck, he still is flowing a little bit better than stock. If you get a pipe, and re-jet, you'll have him for sure. Especially if you get something better than a DG exhaust.

Y'know, 300exPAUL is absolutely right. There is NO machine that'll beat a 300ex. 282 CC's is impossible to compete with. They are the ultimate in unsurpassed power. The undefeated champion of all things motorized!
GIMME A BREAK.
There's no reason, other than being on a MX track, that a 300ex should beat a Warrior, unless the 300ex is modified and the Warrior is bone stock.
All your problem is, is letting your motor breathe a little bit better(like his is doing), and to get some practice with your take-off.
Ignore these guys that like to preach the word for Honda. They are just product-loyal.
