Banshee Sparkplug Question..
#1
Hi,
i own a 1999 yamaha banshee and i was changing the plugs today (first time since i bought it) and i noticed that both plugs had black liquid on the tips. the quad is bone stock and has never had a rebuild. My question is this : Is this oil? is it somthing i should be worried about? i got a book from the library that said an oil fouled plug is caused due to worn rings and pistons. DO i need a rebuild? would it be possible for me to buy a shop manuel and do the work myself? how much $$ will it cost?
if you can help me with any of these questions it would be greatly appreciated. Thanx
