Default questions on warrior

and on the on/off switch....tonight i sanded down the handlebars where it would ground, i moved some ground wires around to see if it would do anything and nothing...i could use some ideas on that too i thought maybe it was grounded cause the start button works but i pulled it off the handlebars and the start button works no matter what so im out of ideas

The splines match. I wouldn't have told you they work, and made the statement "all the splines match" unless I meant it [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-confused.gif[/img]

you say "the start button works". How do you know this?

the start button works it starts and runs and everything it just wont shut off by using the run switch i took the whole peice off the handlebars and pushed it and it still started up

ah nevermind, i was thinking of another thread where it wasn't starting. What I would do is just try to figure out the wiring schematics and trace the wires.

I always leave mine on "Run" and use the key to turn it on/off. Have never in 10 yrs of riding needed to use the switch on the bars, and if I did, I was too damn slow at hitting it anyway!!!

pop the linkage out of the shifter and just run a bolt wit a washer in it and it will do away with the linkage

I really don't get what you mean with this, but sounds like that just leaves you without a shifter at all...
