What is the top speed of the yamaha kodiak 400 4x4?

Some have been known to break 55 MPH.

I can't seem to get past 53mph, and thats on a decline. On a normal flat straight, I can usually get to about 51-52.

Mine hits 52-55 mph, with K&N installed.

My freind met up with me on the highway with his car and I was on my 01 kodiak and I opened her up and the speedometer said 50 but my freind was holding 55 in his car and not passing me.

00 kodiak w/o speedo, but at 2600ft and my light **** on it about 46mph.

With my wife riding on the beach (wet packed sand)
hers will do almost 60 but she only weighs 95lbs.
She can run side by side with me on my Grizz but i weigh about 215. I can get just over 50 on hers.

I have a 2202 Yamaha Kodiak and can get 64-66 mph on it. I have 27" Vamps, Monster Power high performance kit, Yamahaha CLutch kit, and an FST cam plus a golden Fram oil filter.

Im only getting 51.5 mph with my mods and 27" Mudbugs. I check it with a Garmin Etrax GPS.

One time at summer camp I heard a guy say that his brother's best friend's
sister's third cousin's boyfriend's wife had her Kodiak up to 70.My stock 2000 Kodiak will only do about 55.
