Default Oil leak question

I have a 2002 Kodiak 400 that i flipped during trail ride.
there was stump hidden by brush in side of trail, it jerked handle bars out
of my hands and threw me off, the quad landed upside down, bending handle
bars down to tank. I got up and flipped it back over and seen Oil dripping off the
plastic. Looks like about a half cup of oil. It was around the shifter area.
How did the oil get out of the engine while upside down?
It don't leak now, just when it was upside down.
Thanks

Default Oil leak question

The motor is vented, kind of a primitive PCV system. It most likely came out the vent, which is usually routed to the air box. How much oil is sitting in the air box? Hows the oil level on the dipstick?

Default Oil leak question

There is oil in the gear shift box. Go to your dealer and ask them
