Default Yamaha warrior timing chain tensioner

How do you adjust the tension on the timing chain on a 96 yamaha warrior? I started to take engine apart to rebuild and changed my mind and i think i did something to the tensioner and now it has a ticking sound in the top end. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

It's an automatic tensioner. If your chain is loose then either you messed up the tensioner or didn't re-install it correctly, or you need a new chain.
