Does anyone know how the Corba Exhaust with the "Power Core" is because I just got one and i have not put it on yet because i herd it was crazy loud and but it gives a lot of power so...

 

depends, the one my freind has on his timberwolf gave it a good powerboost, and it gave it a nice pop, pretty loud.

Cobra exhausts are not known for being quiet

 

Raptor450 is right, they can make a utility sound like a muscular racer. they are not so loud that you wont be able to ride around houses, but they will know your coming. my freinds cobra piped timberwolf sounds a hell of a lot better then a raptor any day.

I herd that they make a quiet version but that one i dont know if i will get the power i am looking for.

 

i have the quiet series cobra i think its called utility it makes it a little louder than stock i didnt really notice to much of a power change but they have a cobra big gun i believe thats loud and supposed to give u a lil more power

 

How are you guys figuring that you're gaining a bunch of power and that it sounds better? Every cobra exhaust I ever heard on any machine is surely loud as hell, but loud like a lawnmower with no muffler, and just sounds like the machine wants to die. Every dyno run I ever saw on them showed no power gains, and with one that's been used for a year or 2, actually a loss in power because the packing is gone in them after a little riding, and since they've got that awesome welded shut design, you can't replace the packing in them. But you won't have to wait too long before it splits at the seams and rusts apart, then you can repack it.

I can't help but laugh at the above statement... did you ever hear a raptor 660/700? are you talking about a raptor 50 or something? I mean, you're claiming that a 250 utility with a cheapo slip-on sounds better than one of the most powerful 4 stroke sport quads ever built. That's just silly. I mean, even stock the sound would blow away the sound you could get out of any 250 with any exhaust. The sound of a raptor with a good exhaust, like a yoshimura rs3... instant boner[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img]

I'm usually not one to flame, but when I see a bunch of misleading information like this I have to chime in because I don't want to see others wasting money on these junky old rattle cans.

 

I agree with ya recon my friend has one on his timberwolf and I would never buy a Cobra exhuast after seeing this thing...I remember his fallin off of his quad while riding because the rear bracket fell off of the exhuast ahha that was a funny sight...It might be loud when compared to a stock quad, but put a pipe on a raptor or any other quad for that fact above a 250 and I am pretty sure it will be louder and Cobra's make pretty much no power gains at all and I would honestly never buy any of their products for any of my quads.
