jet sizes and carb sizes, are they related?

at the point that you could afford engine work on your 250, you'd be better off to just trade it for a real sport quad, maybe something in the 400 class. Modding the beginner machines just doesn't pay off, there's just too many bottlenecks and limitations.

Ya i guess you're right, but if im ever upgrading im getting a pred, (hopefully 05's will come into my $$ range soon)
But i think if i sold my quad and added all my money i have left in the bank, i would probably only have 4500CDN and that is hardly enough for an 04 z400 and those had frame problems i think and i dont want to get a 400ex cuz the pre-04's are ugly, and raptor 350s arent wide enough, nor do they have sufficient suspension
And i would need it to keep up with a 2006crf250r and a 2004yz250f dirt bike
so the pred is the only cheap one that has power, stability/wideness, and the best suspension after the lt-r450 (and it doesnt have too much low end, so i should be safe power wise as long as i keep the rpm's down)
