I am having trouble with a 01 banshee. i cant get a spark and when i pulled the fly wheel i noticed that the high spots on the outside of the wheel which trigger the pickup coil are not magnetic, should they be ? and if so what could have hapened to it.

 

no its not magnetic,the inside of the flywheel is. was your flywheel loose when you looked at it. either its your stator , wiring harness,coil, --- could be cdi or flywheel but the first three go out the most. were you riding it and then nothing or has it beeen sitting??? do you have any buddies with shee's??? i'd look at you coil and harness first.
