Thats normal, its the oil when it burns, it burns a blue smoke and will be very noticalbe when you warm your machine up or get on the gas hard. What premix are you using??? because yamaha suggests a really high oil to gas mixture I use 32:1 and thats what all my buddies use also.

Well im not positive but i think its smoking more than it did like last week. Is there a setting or something that could be wrong to make it smoke?

Theres no settings, if it has warmed up a bit since you last rode the bike then it could be running rich and will smoke more. But overall i would not worry as long as both pipes smoke the same amount and the bike runs good, 2 strokes change everytime you ride them and the jetting could be slightly off one day and not the next. If i was you I would do a plug chop to make sure your jetting is correct if you have modifications and ride!!!!

i run klotz r-50 at 40:1--- i noticed yamalube smoked more . it might be time for new rings... do a compression check .if its smoking out the left side alot then you have problems but if they both are about the same then it might be just rings. it is a 05' it might be time for a ring job.
