Default will a blaster 03 motor work in my 96 blaster?

i know someone with a motor out of a 2003 blaster, but i dont know how it will work with my 1990 blaster. i have heard that the newer blasters are not much different than older ones, but some of the electrical is different. does anyone know if i will have to do any alterations?

It should work, the design hasnt changed much. I think the only difference is the newer ones have the TORS which is easily removed.

throttle override system, i dont really know what it does, someone said it does something to prevent "something that has the same effect as a sticking throttle" but the kill switch is much better performance wise

TORS in in the carb, so i wouldnt worry about the engine not fitting
