Default help clean a carb on a Raptor 80 - please!

I have a 03 Raptor 80 that I bought a while back, that had sat for about two years. I have already pulled head and put new rings and piston, due to being stuck - rusted. Exhaust valve was open when parked... my luck.

I pulled the carb, and it is full of the dreaded white powder gunk! I have tried carb cleaner, brake cleaner, gas, etc. I have scraped a lot of it off, but it will not wash off, and carb will not idle well and is very rough until you get RPM's up. I know its got to have the white stuff in the circuts... I have pulled both jets, float, etc. and sprayed and soaked... still rough and idles really low and idle screw does not help.

Has anyone found anything that will remove the while powder stuff? Any ideas to get this thing running well again. My son is going crazy to ride, but I do not want him on it until it runs smooth.

Thanks for the help!

Ken
