Default How do you remove the axle carrier?

Need help... I am replacing my damaged axle on my 660. After about 3 hours I finally got the damn thing out. But now, how do you remove the bearing carrier? I have tried everything except a blow-torch!! Am I missing something. How does it seperate from the swing arm?

Its a two piece contraption. pretty poorly designed by yamaha.. It takes allott of english to seperate it. the brake side is the plate that comes off. and its prolly corroded. BFH (big Focking Hammer) is usally required

If you have access to a large socket that you could place over the opening that works best.
