Kodiak Belt Adjustment

Kodiak will not move when throttle is advanced, engine will rev higher. any suggestions

That happened to me after my Kodiak was submerged in a mud bog for maybe twenty seconds. Somehow, mud got into the clutching, and wouldn't let the clutch expand. Take off your cover, put it in nuetral, and give it some gas and watch the drive clutch. You will probably find what you are looking for.

you probably have water in your belt cassing, you have a little drain plug for you belt cassing that you can try to see if you have water in it .

Thanks for the information, I took the cover off and cleared the ICE, thats right ICE, Works fine now, Thanks again

Glad I could help. I take my belt cases off every couple months, and take one of those .19 acid brushes, and lay a small amount of marine greas in the channel between the two. That helps a lot.

Sounds like to me you go water in yer motor were the belt is. had the same problem; had to take the whole skid plate of to drain with when i backed off into a 4 1/2 deep pond.....lol
