Raptor 350 Upgrades Help Required
#1
OK, Basically I have a standard 350 with the baffle removed, not good, I have now purchased the following,
Yoshi Comp slip on, K&N, Stage 1 & 2 Jet kit.
Looking to get Rev Box to increase power curve, and wheel spacers and maybe cam.
As I am a UK Expat in Angola, Luggage weight is an issue, hence slip on Exhaust.
Any Advice on Rev box as the Big Gun Web site states No rev limit(Not good)
Is the Cam change a lot of work?
I am going to have to jet without and diagnostics so its a plug color check!

The cam is not so hard to install as for the rev box ive heard many say there really not worth the money of the raptor 350 because it doesnt have a rev limit or just will not hit it so save your money on it ....

The cheaper rev boxes like the ones big gun, procom, and white brothers make are all the same taiwanese/chinese piece of junk that is a downgrade from the factory yamaha one. The only CDI that is actually worth looking at is the Dynatek CDI, they're awesome. Don't worry about not having a rev limit though, I ride with a guy that has a 446 and every other mod in the book, and that thing has been rode hard for at least 5 years with no rev limiter. You'll float the valves before you have to worry about blowing the engine.
