Default Blaster vs lt250 (2 stroke)

what would win a blaster with a 240 big bore and pipe or a lt250 with a pipe. The reason is because there is a guy who comes up here every year and i wanna race him. ps what are those suzuki 250 2 stroke called?

The Suzuki is the LT250R. Do you know what year Qracer it is? If both motors/clutches are healthy, you should give him a good run. I think the Zuk will take the majority of wins unless you have an extended swingarm or some other advantage. 240 Blasters usually can hang with mildly modded 250s in a straight line.

I think the Quadracer may beat you, depending on his mods. It ought to be a good race if his is fairly stock.

I think you should eat him alive to tell you the truth. I just raced a suzuki 250 yesterday and i beat him once and he beat me once. His was a 2 stroke. it had a pipe to. The bad part is my blaster is str8 stock. The first time we raced i smoked him. The second he got me by 2 lenghts and the 3rd time it was a tie. So if your blaster is a 240 you should win.

Next time you see that 250, ask him when the last time he rebuilt that tired old warhorse. No year stock Quadracer should lose to a stock Blaster. If the Zuk was piped, definately no way unless it is low on compression, blown clutch, etc.

agreed. maybe he doesnt know how to ride and shift yet. or maybe he's used to a raptor and he shifts early like you should on a rappy. probably not though.

I've actually seen this race before, 240 piped blaster exactly like you said. This was with a non-piped, beat up 86 quadracer, and it still owned the blaster no problem. The blaster only had it off the line for the first 20 feet or so, and that could be attributed to gearing or my cousin not being used to the quadracer yet since he only had it for a few weeks. Either way, my money will be on the lt250r.
