Just wanted to know how I would feel on a Banshee. I'm 6'2" 250 lbs. Had a Warrior and it just felt a little cramped. I have a 660 Raptor and it feels good. Just wondering if the Banshee would feel more like the Raptor or a Warrior.

Go +2 all around the bike to make it bigger for you! I have friends your height, they like how it sits but bars too low for them. You can get a longer steering stem. Banshee pegs aren't positioned the best so your knees prob sit kind of high. A good mod for this would be Blaster Pegs, they sit further back & sit lower. More comfy!

My neighbor is exactly your size and felt great on his banshee. His only complaint was how rough of a ride the banshee was for him....He is getting old! But for size, I would say it should be fine.

Yeah, the Banshee suspension isn't the greatest. I added +2 +1 A Arms & a set of YFZ shocks. So smooth now!!

Thanks for the response. There is an ad in the paper around here for a '99 model for $1600. I was thinking about going to take a look at it. I know the suspension isn't the greatest and that the bike design is 20 years old, but there is just something about the way a 2 stroke sounds. I ride a lot of open trails, so thats the only reason I am thinking about it.

We don't get those kind of deals out here in Cali. That sounds like a good deal as long as frame is good, no bends rust free & good motor. Everything else is bolt-on stuff. Banshee's love haling a## on the open roads. You'll love it. Any chances this bike comes with modfications?

Yeah man that sounds like a great deal to me. You need to post some pics if/when you buy it. I'm glad you understand what you are getting into with a banshee. You gotta love the 2 stroke!!
