raptor 700 questions

i am going to get a raptor 700r se and i was wondering if i needed a computer for a slip on exhaust or what??

Yes you will need a controller.

Some dealers claim they can adjust the stock map enough to compensate for a few minor mods but not sure on that.

Yes its runnable without one but for how long will become the question [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img]

If you add performance mods without a controller it will run lean and shorten the life.

If you want a pipe on there get a programmer. . . don't be cheap on your bike. If you don't want a programmer, don't get a pipe.

Get the dynojet PCIII its easy to install and makes tuning easy. I like mine. My dealer has a dyno and we tuned on it without the PCIII before but you can tune even better with the powercommander.
