im getting a raptor 700 soon and i was wondering which would win in a race or what it will take for the raptor to win???

 

Honestly, who wins will come down to rider weight, and riding ability. They are so close it is not funny.

For a stock bike it screamed. After a powercommander is screams more! Only downfall I have is the black scratches, but I bought it to ride, not look at. They are great bikes, you will be happy with it!

Yup but you can tune a stock bike with it with the pre-programmed settings on it.

I like to say I have a brand new 700se, stock my two good friends have 450's jetted and air lid off and a banshee 350 all pretty new. out of about 7 races I lost 2 and they were caused buy me not shifting correctly. The other 5 times I smocked all them buy at least 5 full lengths. And I have video prove of this. they both have been ridding since childhood and so have I . and we all weigth around 200lb.

 

I would like to see that video proof, because every 700 i race, stands no chance since i have my airbox lid and baffle out...I beat them by a good 3-4 bikes, a stock 700 beating a yfz with airbox lid off baffle out, and jetted properly just isnt happening, unless the 450 is on ice and youre on pavement.

 

I've seen more 3-mod Raptor 700's at the hills (dunes) lately. . . They've had no problems beating the YFZ's with similar mods. . . even within our riding group. One of the guys brought his Wife's 700 up for a day-trip because he didn't want to ride his YFZ all day and lose at the hill.

I don't know about the flats but, on the Sand Dune Drag Hills, the Raptor is faster than the 450.
