scrambler takes banshee in holeshot
#13
I was at Bull Gap (riding area in MI) this past april and there is this huge sand hill that everybody races up, and I sort of raced a Scrambler up the hill. He was about a quarter of the way up the hill racing a 400EX, anyway I was thinking what the hey, and I took off. About halfway up the hill I passed the Scrambler. I don't know if this thing wasn't running right or what, but this thing seemed very slow, compared to a Banshee. There were other scramblers their but none of them raced up the hill. So I only have the one to go by.

Doesn't hill climbing usually involve highly modified quads made just to go fast?! The Scrambler is the perfect "hybrid" quad, made to do just about anything with any other quad.
I am going to hit the dunes this summer. Then and only then will I get a realy objective point of view on this subject.
Heck, I ain't gonna hide it... a stock Scrambler isn't the best sports quad in the world, but modify a 400l and it is pretty darn competitive.
