Hello everyone! I am new to the Forum. I have a 1999 Beartracker. It is a very nice running machine. I have had it parked all winter. I just went out to the garage this morning to fire it up. After performing all of the usual pre-start checks, I gave the recoil starter a pull. It had no resistance to the end of the string. It just ?freewheeled? for a lack of a better term. I was wondering what causes this to happen? Can the problem be easily repaired? I have rarely used the recoil from the day it was brand new. Thanks everyone!
