i finally hit 500 mi on my wolvey. not too shabby for 3 months of having it eh? my 2007 wolverine has 100 more miles on it than my dads 2001 sportsman 500, lol. he usually uses it for work and putting around our property, considering it has almost 200 hours... lots of idling maybe? well anyways, i thought we should get one thread where we can all post up whatever we want to talk about. skid plates are holding up really nicely and my engine oil and differential oils were nice and clean. i did have some plastic-rubber looking stuff in the oil screen, any idea what that might be?

I got mine in late November last year and I have just turned about 140 miles or so. I wish that we could have more time to ride. Work seems to be getting in the way! lol

I have the Yamaha alum skids and the center one looks great but one of my control arm ones got beat back a good amount and the sad part is I don't remember hitting anything. They don't seem to be as heavy duty as the middle one by far.

I have done the oil and filter, diffs, and spark plug replacement so far. I am going to do the valve adjustment after the next ride or two.

Maybe the goop you found is from some RTV sealer when it was assembled?

i dont think its work thats getting in the way, i think its all that modding that ur doing. lol. i think you might be right about that goop... now that i think of it thats exactly what it looks like. for some reason it was on the inside of the screen... dont know how it got there, it filters the other way. lol

It should have been way sportier than your KQ450. Saying it isn't as sporty as an Ozark is just plain silly.

I guess that's why they make all sorts of differnet quads. You're gonna like what ya got regardless. Personally I wouldn't own another Suzuki, but that's another story all together.

ok guys lets not start brand bashing... lol peope will ride w/e fourwheeler they want. the wolvey definitely isnt as sporty as say a raptor or ex or z, but they are by far one of the sportiest 4x4 quads. the scrambler is the only exception to that imo
