i plan to purchase a slip on exhaust for my raptor 700r se and i was wondering if i need any welding done since it doesnt include headers??

 

no you will not need to do any welding...just bolt it on.....actually if it came with headers you still wouldn't have to weld anything.....exhaust is a bolt-on mod...

 

what if it is a slip on without a mid pipe will there be any welding then??

But, why do it?

I've done the slip-on thing before and just ended up getting the full exhaust later.

I put the Barker In-Frame Duals on this last weekend. . . the header pipe is MUCH bigger than the stocker. Flow all the way back is dang-near straight.

Don't waste your time / money with a slip-on. Remove the baffle out of the stock can and you'll get about the same gains.
