I would NOT recommend that mod for the older 660 based Raptor.
If you are looking to spend that kind of money, get the new 700 Raptor first. The old 660 just isn't a great platform for extreme mods.
I don't think the new one is great for that aggressive of a mod either but, it is a much better bike period. I'm suprised they actually kept the Raptor name on it. . . the old Raptor's just aren't well, I was very happy to sell the Wife's and get her into a new 700.
The other benefit is you are going to get into a platform that will have a much better re-sale value.
I don't want to start a war here but IMO putting money into the old Raptor is a bad investment. . .
Oh, I would check in with Kenz too. They will give you more bang for your buck.

On a 660 based build your better off just going with a 720 or a 727. They can be made to haul the mail. I'd stay away from trinity though, they promise you the moon HP wise yet rarely deliver.
The 700R is a TQ monster when modded and has proven to be very reliable at 780 cc's and the 804's seem to be holding up good as well. I love my Kenz 780

I don't agree with the 660 not being a good platform for modification, with the proper precautions and parts they're still reliable when they go big.
If your raptor is bone stock right now or close to it I agree that you may want to look into upgrading to a 700R. But to say that putting money into a 660 is a "bad investment" is an exaggeration to be sure, they are solid all-around bikes with lots of aftermarket parts availible.

Hopefully NO war of words here....................
Even though I think the 700 Rappy is the kats Meow, I think the 660 based motor has allot to offer anyone that wants great HP & TQ gains. The best part about the 660 based motor is parts and services are getting cheaper IMO
I own a 2001 and plan on keeping it for a LONG time, BUT if the right things happen I'll get a 700 and be happy as a clam.......
Trinity, NAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA try out other motor builders.......... I've talked to Tim Barker several times and he is a very knowledgeable guy and he takes the time to talk to ya and explain things.....just my 2 cents worth
