Default banshee throttle problems

Can anybody give me some ideas?
I have a 2005 banshee, and the throttle is sticking. When the quad is off, i'll push the throttle half way or all the way and the carbs are opening and closing like they should, and the throttle lever is snapping back like it should.
When I turn the quad on and flour it, the throttle snaps back and it's fine. But if I give it a quarter or a half throttle, the engine starts to race out of control, until I flour it once or twice and it will kick down.
What should I look for?

I once had the same problem.
The slides in my carbs were sticking because they were dirty..
Took the carb tops off sprayed everything down with carb cleaner really good & no more problems.

Yeh, my tors are off and I had a feeling it might be the slides hanging up.
Thanks for the info.
