Default 3mm, 4mm or 6mm?? help choose please

Ok what to choose for my Blaster.. I have the engine apart and in need of a crank.. I want to stroke it but i cant decide which crank to choose.... the +3 comes with a base plate and says adds 4hp... just throw it in and go... but why doesnt the 4mm come with a baseplate spacer also?? and it says you have to trench you case or something like that for it to fit... also do i have to do the same for the 6mm crank?? just trench it 2mm?? or do i get the 3mm baseplate and then have the case trenched for it to work.. Im leaning more toward the 6mm crank.. what do i tell my machinist?? just walk up there and say hey im putting in a 6mm stroker crank and i need it to fit?? b/c i will take him the case halves for him to do the work and i will install the crank... thanks for any help

From all I've heard, I'd go with the 3mm crank and base plate unless all your going to do is drag race. The 6mm would req'd some port work to get it to run good. The 4mm would be pushing it without any base plate. If your just looking for a simple but yet effective boost, go with the 3mm.
