How many miles do you have on the kodiak? I would look at putting the original tires back on the bike and seeing if that makes a big difference, if not look at buying a pipe and a cdi box to increase your power and top speed.

I have almost 2000 miles on it, the strange part is it runs the same speed if I have my 26" trail tires or my 25" sand tires on it. and I lose almost 50 lbs going to the 25's. I'll measure the belt and see what I get, how wide should it be? thanks for the help!
