OK. I encourtered a problem and I can't quit figure it out.....One day I was going up the road, busting *** on my banshee....I hit 6th gear and start to ease back off of it, and figure out that i can't switch it out of 6th gear....It will drive all day in 6th gear and the gearshifter seems to be togglable but it wont come out of 6th gear....I thought it might be the forks, but that isn't it....I have never seen anything like it....Any advice?

Check your shift shaft and shifting drum. I had a bent shaft on my 96 which made it very difficult when it came to shifting. Something seems to not be lining up in the tranny.</end quote></div>
That would be my next guess.
