Sport to Utility, Need some info!
Well, im stayin faithful to the yamaha name, just switching machines. I've always ridden sport quads. I wouldnt have given up my blaster, banshee, warrior or raptor for anything but another yamaha. Now i have the opportunity to get an 05 griz 660 with 60 hours on it, 26" mudders (not sure exactly what kind yet) and for dirt cheap. Im not 16 anymore and im startin to like the comfortable riding habits of utilities. i love my dads sportsman 400, just dont have enough power though. is there any website that archives specs and reviews of machines from the year they came out? would i be able to find out the particulars about stuff like suspension, drivetrain, etc? also, if anyone has any advice on what they do or dont like about their griz, share. im already startin an upgrade list for it. thanks for the help guys.

I hope this helps, I have always riden sport ATV's. I just sold highly moded 4 year old 660r and enjoy riding my 700r raptor. It's mods are a full FMF pipe and power bomb header, oversized K&N/intake, Power Commander, oversized rear sprocket and remote res. front shocks. I love to tear-it-up, but I am not 16 anymore eather. A lot of my friends have 600 and 660 Grizzlys and they all love them! Some are stock, most have some mods, and one has a bore kit, lift kit, and every performence add-on known to man-ALL are reliable. For my B-Day I got a 700FI Grizzly Special Edition. I LOVE THIS MACHINE!! The only mod is a Warn Wench,t you would not believe how sporty\capable it is. It's not a racer, but it is a nice change.
