Whats the advantage of aftermarket handlebars? I purchased pro taper bars for my 660 and as far as the width goes, they seem to be the same width as the stock bars. The obvious difference is that the new bars are thicker (1 1/8)..I'm kind of regreting buying them without doing alot of research..I also widened my quad 5 in the back and 3 in the front, i'm thinking the stock bars are just as good..no?

no way!!! Aftermarket bars make it go way faster!

Bars are for comfort purposes only and maybe for rigidity. Stock bars will bend pretty easy if you flip your quad good enough.
