I finally got my Raptor the other day and today I decided to check my airbox drain plug and to my suprise I saw a bunch of crap in it. I took the little thingy off and there was some Skittles candy and some cereal. Is that unreal or what. All I can think of is that when they were putting it together at the deal they wanted to snack in the process. I'm gonna call the dealer tomarrow and see what the deal is. Unreal is all I could say.

My guess would be that your dealer's little helpers were mice not starving service techs.

It could have just been careless settup...But it sounds more like little furry friends to me.
Whenever my quad is parked...I use plugs for the exhause outlets and often cover the airbox so that nothing decides to make a nest in my motor.
I have seen that happen with long term storage. Especially in the pipes.

I took the carb off of an old Charger I bought and found whole walnuts in the intake manifold. I know they didn't get there thru the carb so they must have been dragged thru the entire engine. My inlaws have a 99 Cadillac that always smells like roasting dog food because mice carry it and put it on top of the engine. Get some Dcon or plug up the pipes.

Children with an uncanny knowledge of the Raptor's airbox setup, that's the ticket! Perhaps I can hire them on as a budget munchkin pit crew, yeah I'll pay them in Skittles and cereal, yeah, that's it. Put your money on the mice- The Pied Piper

Any of you guys know what a "Dirt Dobber" is?

Its a kind of wasp that lives here in the south. It builds a mud nest in or on anything. During the spring and summer, if something sits still more than 12 hours, they will plug every hole on it. They will even build in the end of the vent hoses coming off the carb. They will completely plug a muffler. They create more work for some of the techs down here than anything else.

But back to the story. I agree its mice. Been there seen that.
